① The hypodermic needles are intended for intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous and intra-arterial application. 

 Hypodermic needle tube is ultra sharp and thin, made of tri-beveled siliconized stainless steel, to minimize maximum patient's discomfort during injection. 

③ Hypodermic needle is made of polypropylene hub & cap and stainless steel needle tube. They are pyrogen-free, latex-free, DEHP-free, PVC-free and non-toxic. Normally, they are individually blister paper packed in boxes of 100 pcs, cartons of 100 boxes, while OEM packing or bulk packing for wholesale supply is always available.

What is hypodermic needles manufacturing process?  The most important process of manufacturing hypodermic needles is to make the needle cannula, which is made from a stainless-steel pipe.  In the pipe making process, the stainless steel plate is rolled and argon welded to make it into a pipe shape. And stretch this pipe to adjust the specified outer and inner diameters. After the needle cannulas are ready, it should be inserted to needle hub with gluing to make it firm. Then after it's glued, it should be dried by passing through drying oven, then need to be siliconed. After a complete assembling process, the finished hypodermic needle need to be packed and sterilized.

A hypodermic (hypo – under, dermic – the skin) needle is a hollow needle normally used together with a syringe, which is used to inject liquid, or extract fluids.

The gauge of the hypodermic needle actually means the different diameters of hypodermic injection needles. With difference O.D.  6. How to use hypodermic needle? 


A hypodermic needle can be used after opening the packing, screw the hub and the conical fitting of the infusion appliance tightly, then can be used as the using method of infusion appliance.


 7. How to dispose of a hypodermic needle? 


Please dispose used needles or similar medical supplies into the sharps bin immediately after using them, and do not try to take them out again. 


Keep your sharps bin in a safe place so it's not a risk to other people and is out of the sight and reach of children.



 8. How to make a hypodermic needle?


Hypodermic needle is generally made by the following 4 main processes. 


     

➊ Tube manufacturing

This tube manufacturing process makes a stainless steel pipe from a stainless steel plate. In the pipe making process, the stainless steel plate is rolled and argon welded to make it into a pipe shape. And stretch this pipe to adjust the specified outer and inner diameters.


➋ Polishing

The stainless steel pipe is cut to the required lengths, and the tip is polished to make a sharp cutting edge. This is called hypodermic needle cannula.


➌ Assembling 

The needle cannula will be assembled with needle hubs, needles caps, during the process, will also need to use epoxy glue, and also need to siliconize the cannula surface, which the whole process are made by automatic machine in our factory. 


 Packing/Sterilization 

The finished hypodermic needle by assembling machine is auto packaged in Blister paper and finally be sterilized by Eto Gas. If you don't want to buy packed ones, then bulk needles are also available.
